I'm so friggin happy right now. I loved watching Micah play, but he was not worth what he got.
We finally have a difference maker at DT and one of the better drafting teams in the NFL now have extra 1st rounders for the next 2 years.

Great player, but there is a lot of value to be created here, and Jerry appears to have done so...
The Cowboys are stuck in mediocrity but have 3-4 really good players. The problem is a bad relationship with a key coach alienating a room or a big injury and the margin of error on the season is gone. Almost at the point where you trade CeeDee and Dak and rebuild.

To me this finally signals a change of team building philosophy. People are going to hate on this trade but this was a little Howie Roseman-esque. The eagles wouldnt ever consider paying that much for a player like Micah

Cowboys have a really strong drafting history, but 2 late 1st rounders for a star player is hard to understand. However if GB crashes then Jerry looks like a genius.

You just can't evaluate this trade without factoring Micah's propensity to fade, and most of the national pundits don't seem to have paid any attention to that. Guys like the dope that wrote that article probably aren't even aware of it

The only mistake is that we didn't trade him earlier. He's a great pash rusher who is bad at everything else plus he has an injury history. We get two first round picks (albeit probably in the 20s) + a good DT which we desperately needed.
The Packers get a great pash rusher and are paying him a crazy amount. Not sure what they will look like against the run swapping Clark and Parsons.
Parsons was overrated before the trade and he will be overrated after the trade.

Rattler was 0-6 last year as a starter.

This is what I always come back too. They love to exclude the multiple late season fades that seem to be the normal thing.

This is why everybody doesn't like the trade. People just think it's trendy to be anti Nico and anti Jerry. Every trade any Dallas teams ever make will now be called Luka 2.0.
People aren't measuring the trade objectively. It's through an anti-Jerry and being scarred by Luka lens.
