They didn't sign him, they traded for him, 7th round, and threw a little additional money his way. But yes, overall, not a good deal for the Texans.

There may be some post-LSU satisfaction hangover and taking a break from a team that has been underwhelming so far.

13+ minutes of possession in the first 15 and only 6 points to show for it. I guess that's better than f'ing it up at the end with a turnover, though.

Encouraging bounce back win. Out gained them by 250 yards, and probably should've won this by at least three scores.

I liked what I saw from the young receivers and the running game. CJ clearly had his best performance of the year, too.

SF's injuries on the DL were just what the Doctor ordered. If you give CJ time he can pick you apart even with two starting WRs out (and TEs 2 & 3 and RB 1).

The ST gaffe giving up the big return before the half was outweighed by the good (4-4 on FGs, two punts with no return yardage and a pin at the 1).

D looked great. Continued red zone futility and penalties were the only blemishes, and even those weren't as bad as they've usually been this season.

took advantage of the 49ers not showing up until late in the 2nd quarter

unfortunately, not getting help in the AFC playoff chase again
