What was your expectation going into this game against one of the best defenses in the NFL that you seem so surprised? I get being pissed off if we struggle against a bad defense, or if we can't do anything at all versus a good defense. But this is about what I expected, if not better than I expected, going against one of the top defenses.
It's the play calling inside the 5 yard line That's what mind-numbing. Running up the middle multiple times. Maybe try a slant, etc.

You almost have to be impressed that the Texans are losing this game…I honestly think that the Texans losing based on scoring possibilities that have presented themselves already in the 1st half would be statistically impossible.

I think most people's issue is, based on the playcalling, our OC doesn't seem to know any of these things.
You have to try to establish the run and see what we can do. If there wasn't a false start and we got that TD it wouldn't be as bad, and the drive actually would have been great. Considering we couldn't even get into the red zone against bad teams earlier in the year, I consider this progress.

When you're at the 1-yard line, your only goal is scoring. By any means necessary.
There are 99 other yards on the field where you can try and establish the run. Repeatedly running in the A gap against a great D-line is stupid. We don't have the personnel for it and it's costing us points. Accept what we are and adjust your playcalling accordingly. Doesn't mean you never run but you can't just keep banging your head against a wall.

Yeah, I didn't like that, if they end up getting into FG range and running the half out to take the lead, it'll look really bad.
