Was the last big trade at the deadline we had Demarius Thomas? Generally these are underwhelming because it takes a bit to learn the new system.

I would have offered Hunter to the Cowboys for a 1st. I bet they would have accepted it.

I would not have. Even if we're not winning, I like Hunter purely for WAJ mentorship.

No QB, no kicker, it's time to active the Jack Pardee protocol that he once threatened when both Moon and Carlson were looking injured one week.

Figure out what WR or DB played QB in high school and run the option.

On week in the 90s when Moon was hurt, Carlson was coming back from injuries, and whoever the third string was also hurt, Pardee famously said at a press conference that if Carlson got hurt they were going to put Ernest GIvins at QB and run the option. I never wanted an injury to happen so badly in my life, but alas, Carlson stayed upright.

Right. Trading for one great O lineman isn't suddenly going to kickstart that offense.
