For others who don't bother reading the article, this is not what the article is about.

I saw nothing indicating Trump hung out there. The article is about Epstein supposedly collecting friends and one of his tools was having pics of all the famous people he had hung with around his townhouse. One pic The NY Times showed was a well circulated pic of Trump, Melanie, Jeffrey and Ghislaine but with Ghislaine cropped out.

To be honest, the content and timing of the article are frankly… bizarre.

Well…. Trump claims he quit being friends when Epstein stole employees, that happened in 2000
But then talks good about him in 2002 and hangs out with him in 2003. Said he kicked him out of MAL in 05, but no record of that until 2007.
Nothing about Trump's recollection of his friendship timeline with Epstein adds up. But I'm sure it's nothing.

Let's just look at the facts of the matter.

For four years the Biden admin had the Epstein case under their jurisdiction, Never once was it even mentioned. Totally memory holed.

Trump decides to start bringing this up, (along with JFK, RFK, MLK) and saying that he will bring them up and open up.

So let me see if I got this right. You guys are saying that Trump is a pedo and that he is covering up his pedo connections with Epstein by not releasing the files fully.

This is a special sort of stupid!!

I can assure that if I knew I had stuff in those files that would incriminate, I would not at any time being pulling it out of the memory hole and waving it like a flag.

Trump didn't start the Epstein interest. The internet did. Trump seized on it, and the pundits ran with it, but I don't remember it being a campaign promise like MLK, JFK and RFK. As for the Biden's not using it against Trump: it very well could be that there are big names associated with it and they wanted to let sleeping dogs lie a or it's intelligence.

This whole Epstein topic wasnt never centered around Trump. That was all sparked by a jaded billionaire on ketamine posting that Trump was "on the list". Then the left ran with bday cards and recycled footage.

No doubt Trump is hiding another sexual escapade, almost certaily not illegal. Confidentiality can protect dirt from getting out, but not illegal activities.

ETA: Look, I get it, republicans in my lifetime have become more and more swampy and are not a "conservative" party. They are; however, FAR better than democrats. Even some of our most worthless members like Collins and Murkowski are right-wing nuts compared to the dems.

Trump is making billions just since he's taken office again. Granted, he found ways to rake in millions from maga and others during the four years he wasn't, but the point is, they all do. Some, like Trump are just more open about using their position to fill their coffers, but if you look hard enough you'll see they're all the same. Some just have different letters by their names.

it became centered on trump when he and his surrogates promised to release the epstein files, then found out he was in them, did a 180, and tried gaslighting his followers a million different ways into forgetting about them. first it was there is no list, then it was there is a list but obama fabricated it, then it was "shut up and move on," then it was a bunch of cya half-measures that amounted to nothing.

trump has no one but himself to blame for finding himself at the center of the controversy. even if he wasn't abusing minors on the island, he's now complicit in the cover-up.

What it tells me is that there indeed no there, there on Trump and the story is not a not so secret meeting at the Naval Observatory and internal letters… the story they are working is explaining why Trump is still a pedo and co-conspirator with Epstein even though the released information says otherwise.

There purposes of these Trump redaction / coverup stories is about ensuring exactly what you say. It's about clouding with so much misinformation, trust Will not exist for any of it.
