I agree, but I believe be doing it in September to hold the more reluctant House members to the fire regarding the signatures needed for his/Khanna's HR. He was supposed to be able to start collecting signatures in July before Johnson sent them to an early recess.

Spot-on. The Biden administration had access to the Epstein files for at least 6 months prior to Biden's exit from office, and it's a foregone conclusion that if there was anything in them that implicated Trump, they would have released it. Also, FYI, a federal judge on Aug. 11 denied the Trump administration's request to make material related to Epstein public.
President Trump in July asked the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release grand jury testimony from proceedings involving Epstein. If Trump himself had any involvement, why would he be asking for material to be released?

I don't think anyone is "fighting the release." The judge stands by the norm of keeping grand jury stuff confidential. I suspect there's a lot of innocent names in there, including victims and perhaps falsely accused people. Regardless, if there was really some gotcha that nails Trump, you can be rest assured the Biden administration would have released it already. I mean, look at what they did with all the other false accusations, lawfare and fake 34 felonies etc. etc. etc.

I guess this needs to keep being reposted every day. Trump followers let the DOJ gaslight them into thinking Trump admin has eve tried to release anything. They've come up with 7 different stories, the first one being that there are NO FILES lmao

Read I'm Gippers posts on the topic going back a month. Grand jury files request were just a smokescreen to give MAGA a pacifier. It worked I guess to an extent.
