Pro Football Reference has a great player vs. team feature that I didn't know about until today.
He's 1-2 in the regular season and 0-1 in the playoffs.
The 2018 game was in Houston, 20-13 us. He must have gotten hurt. He was 10 of 17 for 84 yards, then somebody named Nathan Peterman came in. That was his rookie year.
The 2019 game was the playoff game at Reliant which we played like total garbage and then won in OT. Down 16-0 until the last minute of the third quarter, then up 19-16, then they tied it at the end of regulation. 22-19 Texans in OT. He ran for 92 yards and threw for 264, but had zero touchdowns and got sacked 3 times. That was his 2nd season.
In 2021, they narrowly beat the Texans 40-0 in Buffalo. The Texans heroically managed 6 first downs, 5 turnovers, and 10 penalties for 100 yards.
In 2024, he played like total ass out of nowhere, 9 of 30 for 131 yards in a 23-20 loss. They were down 20-3 at one point, then tied it at 20-20, and Fairbairn made a 59-yarder to win it at all zeroes.
So you're right. 0-3 in Houston.
Sad watching the highlights of that '19 wildcard game. It was ultimately the pinnacle of Watson's time in Houston. He escaped a two-man sack and checked down to Taiwan Jones, who I don't think I've thought of since 2019 - for a huge game-breaker. Won the WC, got up 24-0 at KC the next week, and well, you know the rest.

They used to have that Super Fan who was at every away game - bald, wore a license plate around his neck. The utter silence about Mixon's status pisses me off every time I think about it. The team says absolutely nothing, the player says absolutely nothing, the fans are supposed to turn out and cheer and just think, "Oh well, I don't deserve to know, even though I'm the one buying the tickets and the concessions and the merch and watching it on TV."

Question, you said that he got treatment on his foot he shouldn't have and now attorneys are involved to void his contract, that is new info…where do you hear that?
For starters, I'd suggest taking all of his stuff off the team page instead of continuing to try and make money off of him.

Caserio provided a non-update Tuesday on SportsRadio610 when asked about Mixon's situation.
"It's not that I'm trying to be like evasive, it's just a very gray situation," Caserio said. "Joe's worked at it. There were times where he's made progress and other times when the progress is kind of stalled there a little bit. Players in his status or situation are on the reserve list until they're not. Joe's doing everything he can. Obviously we're getting pretty late in the game here, so I don't want to establish any sort of expectations. A month ago or whatever it was, I mentioned we'd have a better idea here in the next three or four weeks or whatever it was. I don't think we have any more clarity at this point.
