Aginlakeway has a point here.

Releasing a list of actual names of people that haven't been charged with, let alone convicted, of a crime would be attempting to solve a problem while creating others. At best you might be able to release a redacted set with "Politician A" or "Actor B", but even then it might be opening up accusations against the wrong politicians or actors.

Having said that, (1) I don't trust that any politicians or 3 letter agencies have prosecuted everyone that has committed crimes associated with Epstein, (2) as such, I believe there are things her to be investigated and most likely to end in prosecutions, and (3) it is possible, because I am in this list, to think the messaging/PR by the Trump Admin has been horrid and made things worse, BUT it doesn't derail my support for all the great things being done.

Maybe a special prosecutor is the way to go, but whatever path is taken, there needs to be people beyond question teamed up to do this. Not a cherry-picked loyalist.

These are not bots, these are real Trump supporters who voted for him 3 times who feel betrayed and are PISSED OFF at the insulting tone he is directing at them.

I am pissed off too. Release what CAN be released.

But my overall satisfaction with the job Trump is doing far is a solid "good."

That has been my point ... and others seem to be OK with doing this.

I suspect that very few of his associates or those named in his correspondences will ever be charged and convicted of sexual related crimes.

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks anyone in a position of power in the western world is implicated in this epstein stuff to some degree. Like the documents make it difficult to discern who the real monsters are vs those that were socially connected to the child sex traffikers but were not aware. Or the documents now have been modified to include as many people as possible so now its going to be impossible for the public to discern innocent from guilty. So everyone is just choosing to cover the story up rather than let it come to light.

I am guessing most will dismiss this because it is from The Atlantic and I am the one sharing it, but this is a pretty good interview with the reporter for Miami Herald who reignited the Epstein issue with her investigative journalism. It is not a Trump hit piece. She finds fault with both parties. In fact, she says that there is no evidence that Trump had anything to do with the sex trafficking.

Anyways, this really kind of clarifies some things that I think people get confused or misled about. Good listen if you have the time.

They will say the desired goal is to stop pedos.

But the real desire is either to get off on conspiracy theories or to enjoy some sort of take down of public figures so they can talk about it on the internet.

The fact they don't clamor first for justice but instead to see names and evidence tells you what you need to know.

This is some incredible gaslighting. You are basically arguing that the government covering up crimes is okay because the people asking for information from the coverup are asking the wrong question.

Releasing the evidence is the first step in getting justice, the same as it was when people were calling on the j6 committee to release all of their documents. Keeping this stuff from coming out sure isn't the path to justice for anyone.

You should probably learn what gaslighting means.

But immediately followed with the perfect definition of a strawman.

Jan 6th was about releasing things such as videotapes and comms covering what actually occurred specific to the crimes committed. The same thing for Epstein would be the details of sexual abuse. If you want to read through and watch such, go for it.

Trump has directed Bondi to seek release of the grand jury testimony. Some people argue that is not allowed procedurally but there seems to be little practical reason not to release.

Why the grand jury info? Because that was what the investigators presented as facts or verified / substantiated information to average citizens to make a determination that there is sufficient evidence that a crime or crimes may have been committed. Seems like a reasonable request to me.

Let us know examples where prosecutors release the details of ongoing investigations prior to trials and in this case prior to any indictments.

Would you be good releasing the information if it meant any accused are granted immunity from prosecution? Because that is effectively what that would accomplish. Bold strategy.

Points to the desire for tabloid justice v actual justice - but you do you.

If they are not going to be prosecuted (which seems to be the case), release their names. That way, maybe their constituents won't send them back to office again or the consumers of their products can go to another source, versus funding their sick fetishes.

That doesn't bother me a bit. But I think its fair to point out that the FBI has been caught over and over again of putting together files based on political factors and not based on facts. As long as everyone understands the information may not be based on anything but the Obama jaded, Soros funded imaginations of incompetent FBI agents, then lets go.

The government would never release a list of actual client names. The only thing they would ever release is the flight logs (which have been public since 2019) or Maxwell's black book. Not everyone named on those are guilty.

Ya'll are so naive to think that there is a hidden secret list locked away in a vault with people on it who were involved lol. F16 full of normies and boomers

EXACTLY.

Otherwise it's a witch hunt fraught with the disgusting backdrop of guilt by association with a disgusting human. Not a lawyer but I can imagine the huge amount of civil lawsuits filed after release would be an insurmountable distraction. Let the investigators find the wrongdoing.

The AG (Bondi) is the one who have to appoint a special prosecutor whom would then report to Bondi. A special prosecutor in this case would just be a dog and pony show.

Not to mention, grand jury testimony will only be relevant to Maxwell and Epstein. There wouldn't be anything about anyone besides those two in GJ proceedings. Witness interviews, texts, emails, any videos or photographs...that's where the real fun begins.

Yep, and Krassenstein is one of the worst on the left, as well as has one of the most punchable faces in history.

If he is right this time, it would be the first time.

It's amazing how many people use him as a source despite the fact the guy is 5 steps to the left of Marx.

Somehow Russia will be the centerpiece of any conspiracy involving Trump.

I bet Epstein had dirt on Trump, most likely hours and hours of video of Trump with underage girls, and Putin knew this and used it to get classified information from Trump after he got Trump elected by embarrassing Hillary.

This is all starting to make sense.

Anyone who has strong feelings about wanting to know 'everything' about Epstein is going to be deeply disappointed and underwhelmed. Lots of stuff is going to be redacted and kept out of the public, to protect victim privacy and to not create new victims - and inviting law suits against the government - of a mob witch hunt by putting the names of people out there whom there is no credible evidence against of criminal wrong doing.

Could more have been released than there has been? Sure. Probably. Did Bondi in particular mismanage this topic? Definitely. But whatever more is released is never going to put to rest the conspiracy theories or satisfy the folks who have bought into the theories. And there will always be bloggers and media channels pushing theories to get clicks and views making $$$ off the conspiracy theory industry.

Release the name of innocent people who are not being prosecuted? Really?

Wow. Good luck with the lawsuits that come out of that.

This x 1000. Seems obvious to me. You can't release the "files" or all the names just because they were associates.

Do neighbors and/or associates of serial killers have their names released to the public?

This won't ever happen.

Sadly, a lot of people just want "the list" so they can try to publicly destroy everyone who had even a passing association with Epstein.

Hell, some people even seem to want all the kiddie porn videos made public, probably because they think they will get to see people like Clinton, Gates, Trump, DiCaprio, etc. etc. etc. raping kids. (This is not referring to anyone here, just some of the hardcore Epsteiners around the Internet.)

Few even seems to want actual justice anymore. Most just want mob "justice" and a chance to dunk on their political enemies by yelling "see what your guy did." We see that with all the leftists here who, in their minds, have convicted Trump of pedophilia.

Yeah, only the "leftist" jump to conclusions with little or no evidence. None of these MAGA dues have been saying anything about Epstein and some of his known associates, like Bill Clinton.... The phrase "good for the goose, good for the gander" keeps coming to mind for some reason.

The amount of unreleased evidence the government has possession of is a bit mindboggling.

For example: "The three-page index is a report generated by the FBI that lists the evidence inventoried by federal law enforcement during the multiple investigations into his conduct. According to that index, the remaining materials include 40 computers and electronic devices, 26 storage drives, more than 70 CDs and six recording devices. The devices hold more than 300 gigabytes of data, according to the DOJ. The evidence also includes approximately 60 pieces of physical evidence, including photographs, travel logs, employee lists...."

It's hard to believe. More:

"The unreleased evidence notably includes multiple documents related to two islands Epstein owned in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Little Saint James -- where his compound was located -- and Greater Saint James. According to the index, the files include a folder containing Island blueprints, photographs and other documents.
Some of the documents could shed light on who visited the island. According to the index, the files also include a Little Saint James logbook as well as multiple logs of boat trips to and from the island.
The evidence also includes multiple lists, one vaguely described as a "document with names" and an employee contact list."
