For Maxwell, the purpose of this interview was two-fold:
1) Try to get a pardon or commutation of her sentence from Trump; and
2) Avoid having to testify before Congress under the penalty of perjury. This why she states that there is no list and that Clinton has never been to the island (yeah, right). If she is released, she does not want to back to the pokey for perjury for lying to Congress. Remember, she had offered to testify before Congress with the condition that she could not be charged for perjury. Congress rejected this condition.

Given her motivations and her past perjurious statements (which the DOJ did not pursue because she was already convicted for trafficking), anything she says is not credible unless backed by corroborating evidence.

Well…not exactly.

She (and Epstein) was clearly a LOT more involved with the Clintons vs. Trump. The Clinton Global Initiative might in fact be at the root of a lot of the trafficking and money laundering/wire fraud/prostitution around which Epstein was tightly involved.

I wish so badly we could put to a vote whether we believe Trump ever violated sexual assault laws and/or underage sexual contact laws. With our names.

I'd love to see real names behind all this goal post moving defense of him. He did it. They scrubbed it. It took a couple months and he has his "credible" source now.

People who don't believe that are only brave enough to defend him on message boards behind a username. They desperately don't want their team to lose. Shame.

What did he do? And how do you know what he did? And if he did it, why didn't it come out while Democrats were in charge of the files?

IMO, this comes out years ago IF Trump did anything wrong.

After the Russian collusion hoax…
After eight separate lawsuits/prosecutions…
After phony convictions on 34 made-up felonies…
And after trying twice to assassinate him, failing both times…
After all that, they had these files for FOUR YEARS. Complete control. And for the last few months they could have used it against him in the election…

I absolutely am open to evidence that Trump is not guilty.

True story time: A lady I knew was a flight attendant for a major airline. In the late 2000s, she was working in first class where Trump was a passenger. She described him as someone who had that amorphous "it factor" aura and was super charming. She was an attractive lady. Not in the same stratosphere as Melania, but attractive nonetheless. She was in her early 40s and looked her age. Trump was super flirty with her and gave her his business card. He said to her: if you are ever in NYC and want to party, give me a call. She told me this right after it happened. I advised her (in much more colorful terms) not to call him. He was married to Melania and only interested in one thing.*

* As I know y'all are way more interested in the end of this saga than the politics, here is the ending: The next time she was in NYC, she called the number on the card. Trump's secretary answered and the lady hung up.

So, the fact that Trump hit on this lady who was clearly middle aged has always made me skeptical of claims that Trump was into little girls.

I have always believed that Epstein purposely ingratiated himself into the wealthy elite for blackmail purposes. Trump was a part of that crowd that Epstein wanted to be in and that is why they became friends. So I have dismissed allegations of Trump's involved in Epstein's nefarious actions.

Fast forward to his current Administration: Trump and his administration have taken actions that make him look super guilty. I am still not convinced he diddled young girls, but I am convinced that there is information in those files about Trump that he does not want released.
